Stone Coming
Just a note to everyone in the Colorado Springs area that the geniuses of Stone Brewing will be in town this weekend for the first time in about a year-and-a-half tapping a couple of vintage beers.
From 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, representatives of the San Diego-area brewery will be at Kinfolk's in Manitou Springs. With them will be two kegs - one of a vintage 2006 Russian Imperial Stout and the other of Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale.
These kind of drinking opportunities don't come along often. I'd suggest that you don't miss them.

ED! Just read your "Best of" in today's Go section. 'Bout time you popped your head out of the keg! ;)
OK, so I've heard of Arctic from you - last year. They still in the rental garage, or have they graduated to something else? Never mind, did a little 'net search - same place. Even found their website (http://www.arcticcraftbrewery.com/).
Popped over to PubCrawler.com and a reviewer from April '07 wasn't too thrilled with the place. The other three reviews thought it was great beer though. Since you give the Peach Lager and Milk Stout some love, I gotta check them out for myself. Love Milk Stout's, but not at this time of year. Definitely a winter beer.
Anywho... glad to see you back!
